At Portland, Oregon, Suzanne Lenglen, after being forced to 20 games liefore defeating Mary K. Browne 11—9 in the first set of an exhibition match to-night, reeled off the court and announced that she was suffering from a bad cold and was unable to continue. The match is considered Mdlle Lenglen's hardest fought in the present tour, arid the longest since she won the championship.
