STATION HAND'S BANKRUPTCY Attributing his failure to lack of work, during tho slump period, and ,'dso to an accident which incapacitated him for work for four months, Hugh Llewellyn Seymour, station hand, of Whatat'utu, lias hied a petition of bankruptcy with the Deputy Official Assignee, Mr. C. Blackburn, at Gisborno. "I have resided in Whatatutu for over 15 years," states bankrupt, "and have been doing station work on _wnges and on small contracts. Until the slump occurred I was doing fairly well, and then 1 was out of work for six months, as alt employ•ment was restricted on the surrounding stations. 1 have endeavored, to pay my debts to the best of my ability, hut last February I met with it serious- accident, and was compelled to stop work for four months. This put me right behind, and recently two creditors have pushed me, aiid 1 RGO no hope of paying." Bankrupt has no assets, according to his financial statement., and his total dclieiencv, representing debts to unsecured creditors, is £1152 4s 7d.
