PRICES IMPROVE
WELLINGTON WOOL SALE A GOOD CLEARANCE ALL BUYERS OPERATING (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The second Wellington wool sale resulted in a good clearance. Prices, instead of reflecting the 5 per cent,. drop shown at the London sales, were an improvement on November. All countries were represented, and competition "was good. The tidal submitted was 19,481 hales, compared with 25,300 last December. Bidding was keen and general, at least 95 per cent of that offering being sold. Average wools were tip Id, and super Id. Bradford was the largest buyer, the continent taking suitable lots, America taking a fair parcel, and the French taking fin.' pieces and paying almost fleece pi-ices.
