Won from end to end. Time, 0.20 3-5. Nelson-Marlborough Cup (8 miles): L. Elliott (Nelson), 23 Ne-W Imperial, 1; A. Orchard (Marlborough), 8 Anzani, 2; P. Hillman (Marlborough), Si A.J.S., 3. Eleven started. Won by a good margin. Time, B.S 4-5. Blenheim Lightweight Handicap (5 miles): J. Chapman, 2$ A.J.S., 1; J". Fyncmoe (Nelson), 2J New Imperial, 2; A. Lemon, 2J Harley, 3. Ten started.
