GISBORNE HIGH SCHOOL

The monthly meeting of the Gisborne High School Board was held yesterday afternoon, Mr. L. T'. Bernard presiding. There were also present: Messrs. J. Kinder, H. E. Bright, Geo. Crawshaw, J. R. Kirk, C. Blackburn, and the rector, Mi". F. Foote. A circular letter intimated that the Government insurance scheme would take over thei fire insurance on the High School buildings.—Received. The Director of Educatio'n advised that the payment- of £2OO as subsidy on the school baths would be made as soon as advice was received from the Public Works Department that the work was done. It was decided to make arrangements to have the rectory painted. Accounts amounting to £lBOl 17s 7d were passed for payment.
