Tho text, ot the. finding of the tribunal which annulled the Duke of Marlborough's marriage affirms that it was a prior attachment on the part- of the Duchess that made tho marriage unhappy from the start, which all the witnesses confirmed, including the Duko and Duchess ami Mils Vanderbilt.
Accordingly Miss Vanderbilt wag not given tho necessary liberty to contract and make the marriage valid.
