A fortune of the gross value of £402,113 has been left by Sir Thomas Charles iJevvey, president of the Prudential Assurance Co. Ltd., who commenced his career as a junior clerk in the. concern. The bulk of the property is left to relatives. A fortune of £194,165 was left by Mr. Thomas William Garrett, of Beckenham, director of Osborne, Garrett and 00., hairdressers’ ' sundriesmen, who bequeathed legacies to hairdressers’ benevolent institutions and to old employees of the firm.
