The wire with which the bobbins inside are wound is about half as thick as a hair, and breaks very easily if handled carelessly. Tho thin metal diaphragm :is also likely to be bent or dented, which means that it will either be too close or too far from the magnets, and the sensitivity of the 'phone is thus impaired. Don't try to solder with a red hot iron; if can’t bo done. "Vl’ait- until the tool loses its cherry glow, and then work with it. Never try to drill a hole in a Lcikclite or hard rubber panel without first providing a starting dent for the drill with the centre punch. Without such a punch marie the drill will “walk” all over the panel no matter how carefully you hold tho drill itself..
