ARRIVALS Wednesday, November 24. Wairnii, s.s. (11.40 p.m.), 684 tons, Hoddinut, from Auckland, via Tokornai'ii Bay DEPARTURES Wednesday, November 24. Huanui, anx. ketch (7.15 p.m.), 126 tons, Thomsen, tor Auckland. Kami, s.s. (3.46 p.m), 2833 tons, Murray, for Auckland. Parera. s.s. (9.45 p.m.), 554 tons, Barnes, for Greymouth, via Napier. The Waiiu.t, from Auckland, via Toko*maru Bay, was tendered for inward passengers at 6 a.m. to-day. She .sails this evening for Napier, the launch for outward passengers leaving the Kaiti side at. 6.50 p.m. (meantime). The Kauri sailed for Auckland last night, after discharging her timber cargo.

The Kaimnnawa is expected to complete discharging coal here to-night and sail for Auckland.

The; Kahika is due at Gisborne from southern ports, via Wellington and Napier, on November 30. She proceeds hence to Dunedin.

The Parera sailed for Napier with wool last night. She proceeds thence to Wcetpox’t and Greymouth to load coat for Waikokopu and Gisborne. The Kiritona was to sail early this afternoon for Napier, with wool. The Pakura arrives from Wellington and Napier to-morrow morning. She returns to Wellington from here. The Awahou i s due) to-morrow from Auckland. She sails later for Coast bays and Auckland.

The Putiki arrives from Waikokopu en route from Portland and Auckland earlv next week.

The Tiroa leaves Auckland to-morrow night for Hicks Bay and Gisborne, and is due here on Sunday.

The Gunbar is undergoing minor alterations at Auckland, and is expected to resume running on Monday, when she sails for Gisborne with cargo. The Huanui sailed for Auckland last evening to* load coal for Gisborne. A fast trip of three days,, one hour and 20 minutes was made by the Royal Mail liner Aorangi, .which reached Auckland from Sydney on Monday evening. The speed on the journey averaged 17.4 knots. The weather was flue and calm. On her recent trip from Auckland to Sydney the Aorangi took three days and ton hours, at an average speed of HIS knots. On that occasion she mas steaming against a fresh westerly wind and moderate headwind. The record run between the two ports is held by the Royal Mail liner Niagara, which made the journey from Auckland in three days 23 minutes.
