TRAFFIC CONTROL
IN WELLINGTON STREETS POLICE TO CONTINUE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Am agreement lias been reached' betweon the Mayor and the Commissioner of Police by which the police will continue point duty at the principal centres of city traffic at' a charge of £-156 per point per annum. The agreement has yet to be confirmed by the council, but in the meantime the police will carry on the supervision of traffic.
