HEAVY GALE
DAMAGE AT " PALMERSTON (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. A heavy gale this morning blew over a lean-to at the old gas works, tlio main building of iron and timber being carried for several chains, and some falling in the main street. Luckily no one was in the path of the debris, which, in places, smashed the telephone lines. Some of the iron was found near the railway line. Fences also were damaged in other parts of the. town.'
