PURCHASE OF BUSES
AUCKLAND'S POSITION. . DISPARITY IN VALUES. (P*r Press As&ociatioi?.) AUCKLAND, last night. The Auckland City Council, which took over the Royal" Motor Bus Co.'s buses on Tuesday, has offered the company £14,260 for its fleet of vehicles and plant,' for which tho company has asked £28,675. The Act provides for a settlement of the price to bo paid if the parties fail to agree.
