Despite the Government's estimate the New York market anparently discounted the report in its advantage, but acted curiously. It maintained an even level at re-opening? 'hen drooped 2.1 to 32 points, then rallied 12 to Ifi points from the early low levels. The New Orleans cotton market broke 20 points on the receipt of the forecast.
