Mr E B. Lusk, who is to ofliciato as judge at the P.B. Turf Club's meeting this week, has arrived m Gisborne. Mr. E. P. Norman. An Auckland correspondent reports the death of Mr. Augustus John Ligar Coatcs, aged 77, brother of Sir James Coa'tes. He was one of the first commercial travellers in New Zealand.
