ANXIETY FELT
TWO WOMEN MISSING TRAMP OVER HILLS • (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Some anxiety Ts being felt regarding two Wellington ladies, Mrs. B. Roberts and Mrs. A. Fuge, and a boy, Max Roberts, who left on Saturday afternoon with Mr. It. Roberts, intending to tramp across the mountains from Otaki gorge, (hi arriving at Otaki gorge the party parked their car and 1 went to Field's iuit on Mount Hector.
The track was very muddy and slippery, with drift snow in parts, so on arrival at the hut it was arranged that lioherts ..should go on to Kaitoke nextmorning, the womenfolk and the boy to remain in the hut and return to tho car on Monday •morning. . Roberts got through to Kaitoke yesterday, but the other members of the party failed to put in an appearance at the car. A search party has set cut for the hut, where it is hoped the ladies have remained. There is plenty of firewood and water, and generally some ratiopn are available.
