TAMAR OVERFLOWS
HEAVY FLOOD IN LAUNCESTON (Received October 15, 2 p.m.) HOBART, October 15. Launceston is experiencing the worst floods known for twenty years. All the low-lying land adjacent- to the city is inundated, and stock has been removed I o higher ground. Some business premises on the waterfront arc flooded. Shipping cm the Tamar is experiencing considerable difficulties.
