It is timed for 6.30 i.m.. and will ho .a .simultaneous broadasf to all stations in the British Isles. One difficulty noticed in the transuission of big events, sucli as those rem the Wembley Stadium, has been hat those furthest away from the baud lug more slowly and start after those rho are near. Thus, (me section of the tudience is u. bar behind the other,-the esult beingi an indistinct roar instead >f a clearly defined tune. This difftulty is being surmounted at. Lewislam in a very ingenious way. As the reads of the soilfj are (lashed on thecreen a small animated, ball will jump nmi one word' to the other. If a Kile is to be sustained there is a special levieo. The words to be sustained will well to a huge size on the screen, ie- j mining enlarged for the requisite time, n this way it is believed: the audience .ill be able to keep perfect time. 'here will be a. rehearsal of the two! ongs at 5.30 p.m. The 8.8. C. enineers will be present, and the audinee will see how an outside broadcast i carried, through. j
