ASSOCIATION'S AFFAIRS. THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual 'meeting of the Poverty Bay .Winter Show Association was held last evening, t-hel president, Mr. IJ. J. tougher, presiding over a fair attendance of members. Dealing with the activities of the association during the past twelve months, tho president urged that an important point to be considered at future shows to ensure their success was the extension of space, or, failing that, the curtailment of the space allotted to the present ex bihits. and he considered that the committee would be better advised to adopt the latter course. Mr. Greig observed that there was much money owing by those who occupied space 'for trade exhibits. He understood that the sale of space was a cash transaction. _ . The president agreed that the rules ot the association in this connection would have to be> tightened up to make it definite, that the sale of space was a cash transaction, ~■,■,, After the balance-sheet had _ been adopted it was resolved that an inventory of th« association's property should be'made, and that the association, should bo registered.
