MICE AND MEN

CURE FOR. BALDNESS. LONDON, September 22. If mice can be made to grow hair, so can men, say Dr. F. A. Crew, an Edinburgh Uunvcrsity specialist, and Mr. H. Brooke, a Taunton (Somerset) scientist.

Mr. Brooke says he has discovered that mice become bald except for their whiskers, throught a deficiency iru a. certain internal organ. Dr. Crew has found a preparation by which, he says, he can arrest the loss of hair at any stage he chooses. The Daily Mail states that mice and men lose their hair for identical reasons, but the discoveries are incomplete.
