INJURED ROBBED
MURULLA TRAIN SMASH POLICE INVESTIGATING (Received October 1,2 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 1. With reference to me inspector’s denial that the injured' in tho Mueulla accident were interfered with, the local police are inquiring, into allegations that while the injured were lying pinned helpless amongst the wreckage three men stripped them of jewellery and other valuables. One woman’s rings were lorn from 1 ter lingers, and sums of money, £4O and £5 respectively, were taken from two men's pockets. '.Flic alleged robbers escaped during the consternation following the disaster. -
