BEDFORD MOTOR TRAGEDY HUSBAND'S SHOCKING CRIME (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.! LONDON, Septemher 28. The inquest on the married couple, Eva and Lindsay Marshall, who were found incinerated in a car in Bedfordshire, resulted in a verdict of murder and suicide. A chemist gave evidence that deceased, on the morning of the tragedy, bought an ounce of prussic acid, declaring he wanted to kill a dog. Bits of a poison bottle were found' in the burnt car. The coroner pointed out that Marshall's financial affairs were very involved, and they might- have caused his mind to give way. Apparently Marshall shot his wife, poured petrol over her, then, inside the car, applied a light, and swallowed 1 prussic acid.
