DUKE OF ORLEANS' ESTATE GENEROUS ACTION /Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.! LONDON, Sent, 28. The Evening Standard announces that Mrs. Jarrot, who is n comparatively rich woman, has renounced her claim to a legacy from the Duke of Orleans- on learning that the estate was smaller than was anticipated. She made this decision out of consideration .for other legatees, only stipulating that the deceased's collection of big game trophies shall be maintained. Queen Amelie of 'Portugal, a residuary legatee, has expressed deep appreciation of Mrs. Jarrot's generosity.
