A recent arrival in Wang.inui who was wheeling his bicycle up Dvirie Vide the other day had the opportunity of saving a fellow cyclist from what might have been a serious accident. He noticed that the cyclist's chain had come off and that his machine was out of control. The recent arrival whipped bis machine round quickly, and, mounting, soon caught up to the othor rider and, catching him by the coat, applied his brake, and after a few yard'? had been traversed brought both machines to a standstill.
