RATS IN WELLINGTON COMBATIVE MEASURES (Per Press Association.; WELLINGTON, last night. At a meeting of the Sanitation Committee- of the Wellington City Council, complaints wore made of the prevalence of ruts in the. city. It appeared that both the Harbor Board and City Council each retains a man for rat-catching, but notwithstanding this members insisted that the rats were worse than ever and specific instances were given. It was decided to take action against those who failed to carry out the requirements, when requested, and to draw up suggestions to householders to guide them.
