WAVE RE-ADJUSTMENTS.

An announcement which will lie hailed with pleasure is made by the New Zealand Broadcasting Company in the effect that il has decided to alter the wavedength of 4YA, Dnnedin. from .'ISO metres to 320 metres. " BCL" recently drew attention to the unpleasant proximity of -IYA In IQCi, Brisbane, 383 metres, and this will now be removed. It was intended tn place 4YA on 440 metres, but this would clash with the new wave-length of 2FC, Sydney, 442 metro*. The time is ripe for the rearrangement of the Australian broadcasting wavelengths and an understanding •with the New Zealand company to obviate interference. Tito main trouble associated with long-distance reception over 100 metres' is interference from shipping Morse, spark transmission.
