A display of spring flowers will ho held in, ilie Women’s Club roomq on Tuesday afternoon. Members of the public aie invited to attend. Being a much discussed .subject, the presentation of the Millenium in the Mission Tent on Sunday evening should afford an opportunity for further study and inquiry into this theme. '1 he tent is very warm and cosy. j At St. Andrew’s Prebvterian Church to-morrow evening, the Jtev .lames Aitkin, M.A., will begin a series of historical- studies of famous” men. “John Wycliffe” (1325-1384)., is to be the first of these, to be followed by Savonarola, Luther and John Knox.
The. Rev. F. A. draws)raw's subject at the Tabernacle to-morrow morning is; “Servants for Jesus’ Sake.” At 7 p.m. he will deal with the gieat, theme of the Jk* formers, “Just ideation by Faith. Attention is called to the fact that the Sunday-school anniversary services wilt be held next Sunday at the Tabernacle. Frequent enquiries regarding dressmaking classes have encouraged the V.W.C.A. to form a second class on Thursday nights, li there is sufficient inducement. Full particulars are obtainable at the Y.W.U.A., and in tending members of the class are advised to enrol early so that this class may start immediately. The Rev. dec. Frost conducts both services to-morrow in Wesley Church, Bright street. The subject of the morn ing’s address is: “Pure Religion.’’ In the evening the subject will be: “Christ's Somewhat To Say.” The choii will render the anthem: “The Cod Of Abraham Praise,” to Dudley ltuek s setting. The ladies of the Te Hapara Methodist Church have been working most assiduously during the long evenings pi the winter for their annual bazaar in aid of the trust funds. On Thursday next the sale will be opened bv the Mayoress, Mrs. G. Wildish. The ladies will welcome gifts for any stalls, the usual stalls are arranged for, and mystery pie for the children. Afternoon tea will be served in the infant classroom. In the evening music and conpetitions will comprise the programme.
