The Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ Frozen Meat and Mercantile Co., Ltd., have received telegraphic advice from their Napier brokers that at their final crutching sale of the season, held there yesterday, there was keen competition and good bidding for all lots offered. Values advanced id to Id per lb, as compared with the lust Napier sale on July 1. The range of prices was as follows:—Good to super crutchings,. Old to 9jjd: mediuili ci'utchinngs, 8d to Bjd; fair crutchings, 6jd to 6Jd; seedy cuitehings, 6cl 7.U1. No further wool sal* will be held at Napier until November "fO, the date scheduled for tho first of their main sales. A sale of crutchings, wool, old meats, and sheepskins will, however, take place locally on November 4.
