BROADCASTING RECEIVED A MOTORIST’S EXPERIENCE (Australian ana N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received September 7. 2 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 6. Captain l’lugge. a piominent wireless expert, lias returned to London from a circular motor trip through Germany, the Balkans, Switzerland, and France. A nine-valve wireless apparatus attached to his ear obtained perfect, reception of London programmes while the car was travelling at 50 miles an- hour. ID. passed through areas, particularly in Bulgaria, where wireless was verhoten, greatly to the consternation of local olli rials. He was once held up for eleven hours while the authorities were deciding whether wireless was an internal machine, and he himself an anarchist.
