GIFT FROCKS

FABRICS FOR DUCHESS. MANCHESTER SCHEME. LONDON. Aug. 26. , Owing to their visit to Australia, the Duke and Duchess of Yolk will be unable to attend the textile exhibition during Manchester's Civic Week. Consequently the city lias offered to presold the Duchess with fabrics to be worn at the opening of Parliament at Canberra. Their Royal Highnesses have replied that they will gladly accept the gift. It is suggested that each exhibitor should submit one fabric, so that the textile trade would be fully represented. This would also give the Duchess a wide choice in her favorite colors. tnvaiiiiiaiMßMiMflinnMWMßß
