HUSBAND'S PRETENCE SEIZED WIPE BY THROAT. (Special to the Herald.) AUCKLAND, this day. During the hearing of an application for a maintenance order at the Magistrate's Court yesterday, a wife said that once her husband seized her by the throat, and when her daughter appeared upon the scene, pretended he was trying to kiss her. Mr. ,T. W. F. Dickson, who represented the wife, remarked: "I should call that a kiss of Judas." The wife added: "My husband said he would make it very hot for mo if I took him to Court.
