Hie returns will not pay the freight and other charges, and the only bright spot in the whole ot the returns is the fact that there appears to he a market for Ballarat tseedling.s. which sold ai prices on a pat with Delicious and other fancy v.i.i ieties. The shipment for which growers have now received returns is the Huntingdon's comprising Delirious. Simmers, stud Ballarats. Delicious made from 6,6 to 9/9. Stumers from 6,6 to 8;-, and Ballarats front 7 ; 6 to 9/-. The cost o! freight and other charges i,< approximately 10/- a case, so that there is a heavy loss on the shipment.
