BUTTER- FROM KENYA. FOLLOWING NEW ZEALAND LINES (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.! (Received Julv 8, 10 a.m.) LONDON, July 6. The first shipment of six tons of butter lias arrived from Kenya, tbe Government of which intends to establish dairying itii Kenya and Tanganyika, modelled on New Zealand’s methods. It is obtaining experts from New Zealand. * THE APPLE MARKET. The High Commissioner, under date July 3, advises; — Apples: Market very quiet still. Condition Corinthio generally poor. Earlier varieties overripe, Jonathan, badly spotted, 5s to 6s, Delicious 9s. Harder, varieties frosted. Port Albert, few stunners sold in London 9s to 10s 6d, other sorts 8s to 10s. Liverpool prices: .Stunners, 6s to 8s 6d per case; Rokewood, 7s to 9s 3d per case; Dougherty, 8s to 9s per case; Statesman, 7s to 8s 9d per case; Jonathan, 7s 9d to 10s 9d per case.
