MIL THOMAS STANDS ORDINAL. VOTE ON RESIGNATION IN HIS UAVOIL. (Reuter’s Telegram.) / (Received July 8, tl a.m.) LONDON, July 7. Tim National Union ol' Railway men’s U’oiilereiiee carried a resolution protesting against victimisation by the railway companies. Air. Cramp said the assurance given by the companies had been flagrantly broken. Mr. Thomas said nothing could be more dangerous or more ruinous to the future ot the country than to engender in the minds of men a. desire to get llieir own back. A resolution demanding Hie resignation of Mr. Thomas, in relation to the National Wages Board, was overwhelmingly defeated.
