SUPREME COURT SENTENCES.
- -SPB(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. In the Supreme Court. Air. Justice Stringer sentenced Arthur Tilling to a year’s imprisonment for breaking, entering, and theft, and Francis Joseph Tanner to six months for a similar offence. George Edward Barber was sentenced to three, years in Waikeria, Reformatory for the theft of drugs, accused having previously been to Koto Jioa Island on account of drug habits. Wi Henare Aupouri received six months for indecent assault at Kotorna. Harold Waterloo Pell was ordered to como up for sentence on February 6. He will probably be discharged then, if lie has made good the amounts stolen. Horace Vincent Byrne Speight received two years’ probation for the theft of liquor in connection with the BnUomart Hotel case, on condition that Speight took out a prohibition order and paid £5 costs and £SO to the owner of the bond bv instalments.
