The Valley of Queens has mil yet been Ihoroughly explored, and certainly holds I lie remains of many of the royal wives. Mr. Carter is enthusiastic over the prospects of next winter’s work. Ho has cleared two outer chambers of '1 ut’s tomb, and their contents arc on exhibition at the Cairo museum. He will be-, gin immediately on two more chambers as yet untouched. Mr. Carter believes liotii of these chambers contain valuable treasures, and greatly hopes he will discover some papyrus, which might reveal historical data of great value.
