SUPREME COURT SENTENCES.
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The following prisoners were sentenced by Judge Sim: Arthur George 'Webber, breaking, entering and theft, at Oamaru, three years’ probation ; Robert Scott, for forgery (two charges), live years’ reformative detention, tiie judge remarking that prisoner was one of the wrecks left by the war; John Moulin, false, declaration under tHe Marriage Act, was fined £lO. Ernest Rasmussen, for forgery, was also linc-d £lO. Counsel said it was the act of an infatuated man, who was suffering under an injustice, because the lady he had been keeping company with was corresponding with someone else. Accused had a forged redirection order, w ith the object of seeing letters written to her.
