Mav 30, j During the Chamber,of Deputies' discussion of foreign affairs, says a Rome message, Signor Mussolini declared that if Italy had not signed the Locarno Pact, she would have lost a good opportunity of placing herself on an equal footing with the British Empire, which equality justified Italian pride! The Prime Minister added that the Russo-German treaty was a most serious affair, and somewhat mutilated the Locarno spirit. Italy's' Imperialism was an unaggressive, peaceful policy. But this did not mean that Italy would disarm until all other States wero disarmed effectively.
