MR. COAXES' STAND SUPPORTED

Erwin moved the following 'motion supporting the Prime Minister in bis stand against art unions: "That this Presbytery desires to express its appreciation of the stand taken by the Prime Minister against Jofctericfi which, by their frequency and the large prizes offered, and the strenuous efforts made to sell tickets, wctas demoralising tins pttblieby fostering and diffusing ' the spirit of gambling."
The motion was carried unanimouslv
