The Supreme Courtvissued a writ of injunction, with 20s nominal damages, restraining William Edward Gasdoigne,' n grocer, 'from selling Palmolivo soap at less than the price fixed in an agreement he had entered into with the Palmolive Co., which brought the action against him. The defence was that selling soap at Bi,d for cash was equivalent to selling it at 9d. the fixed price, subject to discount, but Mr. Justice Ostler held that {his was a breach of the agreement. Costs on the middle scale were allowed.
