BRISBANE’S LAW.

BRISBANE, May 19. The Commissioner of Public Health to-day commented on the continued high quantity of micro-organisms in samples of milk taken in Brisbane. He said the law allowed 1,000,000 to the cubic centimetre, but an examination of fifteen samples of inilk disclosed from 5,000,000 to 40,000,000. Prosecutions are threatened.
