ENQUIRY AT HOSPITAL BOARD. MORE INFORMATION WANTED. The continued * defections from the ranks of the nurses at the Cook Hospital has aroused attention, and the. Board is to make an endeavor to ascertain the reason for so many changes in the staff. Mr. D. W. Coleman drew the attention of the Board to the matter at the meeting yesterday afternoon. He stated that every month the Board was id vised that nurses had left after completing their probationary periods, but without waiting to complete their training. He would like further information on the matter, and asked that the secretary at next meeting should supply a return of the number of nurses who had left in this way. The number' was so large that, he thought the Board should ascertain the reason.
