Mi- K. Sisani, 1910 New Zealand Rhodes Scholar, has secured an appointment in London us assistant secretary of the Oxford University Press. A London cable message states that Sir Gu-y Gaunt lias resigned his seat in the House of Commons. Questions concerning Sir Guy Gaunt's absence were recently asked' in :)ie House of Commons. The Rev. W. Ready, of Hamilton, who lias completed 41 years’ service iii the Methodist ministry, and lias retired, left Hamilton on Saturday for Auckland, where he is taking up his residence. Geo. Nopin, the New Zealand premier full-hack, accompanied by his ■ father, left- for the coast last- week to make final arrangements regarding Ids approaching marriage to Miss Jluinga Koliere, niece of the Row R. T. Koliere. of Te Araroa. —Wairoa Star. .
