WARWICK PRIORY IN U.S.

TO BE RE-ERECTED AS MUSEUM. PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 25. The age-old stones and weatherbeaten oak beams of Warwick Prioi'y have been unloaded from the hold of the cargo steamer Exeter City for shipment to Richmond, Virginia, where it is planned to construct a reproduction of Sulgrnve Manor, the ancestral home of George Washington. Tiie priory was purchased last year by -Mr. Alcgander Wilbournc Weddell, oi Richmond, formerly American ConsulGeneral in Calcutta. He intends to use the reconstructed manor as n residence lor himself and his wife, and after their death it will lie placed in the hands of the Virginia Historical Society io he used for a museum.

In addition to the groqf pile of old stones, and oak beams, all of which dale hack to at least the 16th century, there are more than 53 packitig-cases of leaded glass windows, and as much of the intricately carved interior work of the priory as could lie removed.
