TRAIN HITS LORRY.
TWO MEN INJURED,

AUCKLAND, last night. A train leaving Avondale for Auckland at 5.20 o’clock this evening struck a small motor lorry containing Joseph Maverly, builder, of Titirangi, and his son, Arnold Maverly, 22. The body of the truck was smashed, and Arnold Maverly had his right leg broken, and his father had his face cut by the flying glass.
