CHILDRENS’ CRECHE.
At present (here are .71 children in the Gisborne Children’s Creche, according lo a report presented to the Cook County Women's Guild. They are being, well eared for, and all are in good health. During the past month five children-' were admitted, and none were discharged. The following gift A to the Creche have been received: Gisborne Bowling Club, 'cakes and sandwiches; irresistible, lams; Air. W, Findlay, cakes; MV. Grundy, apriems; Air. Hit ford/ meal; “a friend,” clothes; “a. Friend,” plums; Mrs Jobson, apricots and’plufns; Mr. Alexander, clothes; Button and AVootton, buns; Alias Holden, plums; Presbyterian garden fete, cakes; Air. Sistertoii/ apricots and plums; Airs Trafford, clothes: Aliss At. Tucket, jam and clothes; Afrs W. J. Clare, plums and apricots; Airs Shanks, fruit and clothes; Mr. G. Donovan fAfotu), sheep; Mr. AV. Stark Lawrie, £2 10s proceeds of -weighingmilch ine in liis shop; Williams and Kettle, £1 10s, proceeds of sale of cow. . The children were guests at the Waterside Workers’ and the; ’Freezing Workers’ picnics, while Air. H. H. DeCosfa conveyed them to the former function.
