MATTER BEFORE BOARD,

At the meeting of the Wellington Hospital Board ou Thursday a letter was received dealing with the question of the death of a boy in tho hospital recently during an operation for the removal of his tonsils. The matter, including a report from the medical superintendent, was dealt with at length in committee. Eventually it was decided that the whole matter bc reported on by Ihe Hospital Subcommittee.
