UNPOPULAR IN GERMANY. POLITICAL EFFORT AGAINST IT. (The Times.) (Received January 26, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 25. A Berlin correspondent says: “One of the political objects of the new German Government will he an assault on (lie Dawes plan.” He quotes the Taglische Rundschau, which usually reflects Dr. Stresemann’s view, as declaring the Dawes plan “is proving impossible of fulfilment unless Germany is to sink to misery. Our Government must try to have the Dawes plan altered, and in this connection must lie' supported' by the united front of all parties in order that a conference may he summoned at the earliest date possible.”
