MELBOURNE, Dec. ft.—To the long list of events now covered! by insurance against rain, such as bazaars, race meetings, dances and land 1 sales, has been added another. A Melbourne store has taken out a policy against rain mailing its Friday night business. Underwriters regard Victoria as less liable to variations ot climate than N.S.W., and the rates are only half those of N.S.W.
