DUNEDIN EXHIBITION ATTENDANCES. AN APPEAL BA' AVIRELESS. (Per Press Association.! DUNEDIN, last night. The morning paper devoted a leader to-day .to the wonderful attendance record of the first five weeks of the Exhibition. The official count gives the exact figures as 508,132. .Referring to its amazing success, in a wireless talk, Air. <l. W. Collins. Government Commissioner, said: “To New Zealand cilizens I extend, on behalf of the Government, a hearty invitation to visit Hie Exhibition. U earnestly ask parents, even if they have to sacrifice something, to allow their children to come, especially those over fourteen years of age. The Exhibition must Snake a lasting impression on them, and would he of the greatest possible educative value, containing as it does all the latest achievements in art, science, agriculture. commerce and industry, the marvels of wireless and telegraphy, astronomy, transport by air, sea and land, and all lliesct matters are so explained til'd even children may understand. Combined with these outstanding educational features there is an almost bewildering range of amusements for old and young alike, and nothing co;dd be more inspiring than to see fathers and mothers renewing their voulh with their children at- what, according 1 to'visitors competent to judge* is the best exhibition ever held in the southern hemisphere.”
