LORD ARNOLD.

A CHANCELLOR SAVES lIIM FROM THE DUNGEONS. BUDAPEST, Oct. 22.—Lord Arnold, who left l.ere to-day with Mr. Ramsay MacDonald for Prague, has had a narrow escape from the dungeons. Four times his registration card was returned by the police for him to sign his full name. He pointed out that in his case as a peer the Christian name was unnecessary.

The police, however, did not agree, and the card was returned again. Only the. personal intervention of thei Chancellor, Dr. Ramek, saved the, visitor from prison.
